Design Concepts & Overviews

Karen Vidal will visit your home and provide a vision to help you fully realize your home's potential. Two-hour home visit, written design summary, drawings not included.

Color Consultation

As noted in the LA Times Home Section, color distinguishes our projects. 2-3 hour in-home visit. Color palette provided at end of meeting.

Home Purchase Consultation

As seen on HGTV, Karen helps buyers make decisions. Whether you're thinking of buying a fixer or aren't sure if a prospective home can meet your living needs or your budget, Design Vidal offers ideas and expert advise, as well as instant reliable estimates on costs of potential improvements, repairs and build outs. 2 hours visit.

Home Systems Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

We provide solutions for upgrading electrical and plumbing, adding HVAC, solving water intrusion and drainage issues that are potentially detrimental to the foundation and longevity of your home. We take the mystery out of these daunting issues. Initial meeting (up to four hours), follow-up research, and additional site visits as needed. Design Vidal provides you with an accurate estimated line-item budget to give you a realistic overview on your scope of work.

Review and Advice for Contracts

If you're already involved in a renovation and you have questions/concerns about your contractor's add-ons, we can review your contract and advise you on how best to negotiate with your contractor. 2-hour meeting.
